To request Alcazar for a Swedish-pop disco party, Pride-related festival or glamorous corporate gala, provide the proposed date, city and country, venue, audience size, event type and preferred presentation. Alcazar is a Swedish dance-pop and nu-disco group known for “Crying at the Discoteque” and “This Is the World We Live In.” BnMusic can coordinate a professional paid-event enquiry with the relevant representatives; sending a request is not a confirmed engagement. Email: alcazar@bnmusic-artists.com.
No single public figure reliably defines the fee for every Alcazar event. A workable offer depends on date, location, type of event, travel routing, artist approval and production scope. For this act, clarify the actual authorised Alcazar performers and whether a full group show is currently offered. Request an event-specific proposal rather than using an old online price or assuming accommodation, local production and taxes are automatically included.
Availability for Alcazar must be checked against the exact event date and destination. Public concert announcements are helpful routing context but are not a complete private-booking calendar. Past Alcazar reunions and the solo tours of former members do not prove availability of a full group. Provide one or two possible dates and allow time for a management-level response. A provisional discussion does not reserve or confirm the date.
For Alcazar, send the date, city/country, venue name and capacity, indoor or outdoor setting, event schedule, proposed artist set time, preferred performance configuration and available budget. Include travel expectations and a technical contact if the event is already in production. The quote can be affected by the actual authorised Alcazar performers and whether a full group show is currently offered; incomplete information can therefore lead to a misleading estimate.
An initial Alcazar enquiry is assessed for event suitability and then, when appropriate, referred to the relevant artist representatives. The next steps can include date review, commercial negotiation, artist approval, contracting, payment milestones and coordination of rider, travel and on-site logistics. No performance is booked until the authorised parties agree the terms in writing. Enquiries: alcazar@bnmusic-artists.com.
The exact Alcazar live format is not safe to infer from a historic TV appearance or concert recording. Alcazar has featured different vocal line-ups over time; a booking request must verify the current group configuration rather than assuming a historic trio. Ask for written confirmation of the performers, music delivery, show billing and production configuration before approving a poster or making commitments to a venue.
There is no verified universal private-event set length that applies to every Alcazar engagement. The artist’s representatives must approve the proposed duration, any encore or split-set structure, and the place of the show within the event timetable. For a Swedish-pop disco party, Pride-related festival or glamorous corporate gala, specify the desired number of performance minutes in the offer and have the final duration written into the agreement.
Use the current event-specific rider for Alcazar, not a technical list copied from another tour. The production discussion may need to cover multi-vocal amplification, any approved choreography and dancers, playback or live inputs and coordinated lighting. Only the accepted show format determines the required stage size, inputs, power, soundcheck timing, sound and lighting. A local production provider should check the supplied rider before any equipment is ordered.
Not necessarily. An Alcazar reunion appearance or individual member’s solo disco show should not be marketed as an identical Alcazar group performance. Even if a public concert is announced near your city, the performance length, travel party, rehearsal schedule, rider and fee for a private engagement may be different. Request those terms explicitly before presenting the event as agreed.
No. Alcazar has had different members and periods of activity since its formation in Sweden in 1998. Andreas Lundstedt and Tess Merkel are central names in the group’s history, with other singers appearing in later line-ups. Every new offer should identify the actual performing members and approved artist billing.
“Crying at the Discoteque,” “This Is the World We Live In” and “Stay the Night” are among Alcazar’s best-known dance-pop recordings. The combination of disco hooks and polished pop presentation makes the catalogue suitable for retro and dance-oriented events. The available current live project must be verified independently of these historic releases.
Alcazar is a Swedish nu-disco group formed in Stockholm in 1998. The original lineup consisted of Andreas Lundstedt, Tess Merkel, and Annika Kjærgaard, later expanding to include Magnus Carlsson in 2002 and vocalist Lina Hedlund. The group achieved recognition as one of Sweden’s most commercially successful music acts both domestically and internationally, establishing their identity through nu-disco and europop styles. Their breakthrough came with the single “Crying at the Discoteque” in 2000, which achieved global chart success across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia.
The group’s debut album Casino (2000) established their signature sound, with subsequent releases Alcazarized (2003) and Disco Defenders (2009) solidifying their commercial and critical presence. Between 2001 and 2004, Alcazar sold over 12 million records worldwide. Their discography includes numerous Swedish chart-toppers and international hits such as “This Is the World We Live In”, “Don’t You Want Me”, and “Physical”, which sampled Diana Ross and Genesis respectively. The band participated in Melodifestivalen multiple times and achieved significant presence in the Eurovision Song Contest sphere.
After disbanding in August 2011 following a Stockholm Pride performance, Alcazar reunited in 2013 to compete in Melodifestivalen 2014. The group disbanded again in 2018 but has made selective reunion appearances for special occasions, including performances at EuroPride 2018 and as an interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
