These fields closely match the information requested through BnMusic’s formal artist offer process.
For a major international artist, a detailed request is more useful than simply asking, “How much is Brainstorm?”
The initial request is reviewed before it is submitted or discussed with the relevant artist representatives.
If the proposed engagement moves forward, the process can include:
An indication that a date may be possible is not the same as a completed Brainstorm booking.
When touring, artists typically perform with their full line-ups.
However, it should not be assumed that this specific format and full line-up will automatically apply to every private or corporate event.
The available format and line-up for each private event must be agreed upon individually with the Brainstorm.
Once you submit a request with all the details regarding your event, we will discuss it with the Brainstorm‘s management and provide you with a definitive answer regarding the line-up and format for your show.
There are no grounds to publish information regarding a standard performance duration for a private event unless it has been confirmed for the specific performance by Brainstorm being planned.
Typically, the performance duration is agreed upon with Brainstorm based on the client’s preferences and the format of the performance.
Accordingly, the actual performance duration stipulated by the contract must be specified in the client’s commercial proposal and the event agreement with the artist.
The official sources do not provide a public technical rider for a private shows.
Technical requirements should therefore not be invented from photographs, previous concerts or another shows.
Once the performance format is established, the organizer or production company should review the current rider supplied for the proposed engagement.
This allows stage, sound, lighting, backline, power and other requirements to be planned against the correct production.
Not necessarily.
A private or corporate engagement may still be subject to its own available format, performance duration, production requirements and commercial conditions.
For this reason, the public tour is useful factual context, but it should not be copied into a private-event proposal as though all conditions are identical.
Brainstorm, known internationally as Prāta Vētra in their native Latvia, is a pop/rock band formed in 1989 in Jelgava. The group is anchored by Renārs Kaupers (vocals, guitar), Jānis Jubalts (guitar), Māris Mihelsons (keyboards, accordion), and Kaspars Roga (drums). The band spent its first decade establishing themselves in Latvia with regional hits including ‘Lidmašīnas’ (Airplanes, 1995) and ‘Tavas mājas manā azotē’ (1996), the latter topping Latvian airplay charts for nine weeks.
The band achieved international prominence in 2000 when they finished third at the Eurovision Song Contest with their English-language single ‘My Star,’ gaining recognition across Europe and Russia. Following this breakthrough, Brainstorm released multiple albums across Latvian, Russian, and English versions, establishing a significant fanbase in Eastern European markets. They received the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Baltic Act in 2006 and became the first Baltic band to perform at Glastonbury Festival in 2013.
Throughout their career, Brainstorm has released numerous studio albums including Among the Suns (2000), A Day Before Tomorrow (2003), Four Shores (2006), Another Still Life (2012), and 7 Steps of Fresh Air (2015). Their touring repertoire spans major European festivals and concert venues, with recorded audiences exceeding 40,000 at their 2005 Mežaparks concert and 28,000 at their 2016 Liepāja stadium performance. The band remains active, regularly touring and recording, available to book for festivals, corporate events, and private shows.
