Biography / Discography
Original Koffee, born Mikayla Victoria Simpson, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer, songwriter, rapper, and guitarist from Spanish Town. Beginning her professional career as Koffee in the mid-2010s, she released her debut single ‘Burning’ in 2017. The single established her as a promising new talent and led to a recording contract with the major label Columbia Records.
She achieved international recognition with her 2019 debut EP ‘Rapture’, which earned the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, establishing her as one of reggae’s most acclaimed young artists.
