Svetlana Serhiivna Loboda, known professionally as LOBODA (often stylized in all-caps), is a Ukrainian pop, electropop and dance-pop singer born on 18 October 1982 in Kyiv. Her stage name LOBODA has become synonymous with high-energy pop productions across Eastern European markets. She rose to international prominence in 2009 as Ukraine’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, where her entry “Be My Valentine” earned 76 points and placed 12th in the contest final—a breakthrough that elevated her profile across the region.
LOBODA’s professional discography spans four decades of releases, anchored by the studio albums “Ty ne zabudesh” (2005), “Ne Ma4o” (2008), “H2LO” (2017), “Sold Out” (2019), and “Made in U” (2023). The H2LO album, premiering in 2017 after five years of development, debuted at number one on iTunes charts in seven countries including Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Her singles “Your Eyes” and “40 Degrees” achieved platinum status across multiple markets, while “Your Eyes” alone accumulated over 20 million streams.
