Born into the Reyes musical family in southern France, he grew up surrounded by Spanish guitar traditions and first performed with his father, José Reyes, as part of José et Los Reyes. After José’s death, the Reyes brothers joined members of the Baliardo family, helping form the group that became internationally known as the Gipsy Kings.
As a guitarist and vocalist, Pablo Reyes contributed rhythm guitar, backing vocals and songwriting to the group’s repertoire. His style combines driving acoustic rhythms, passionate vocal energy and the festive spirit that helped bring flamenco-influenced music to audiences around the world.
