He has been active on the music scene since 2009 and his first official recording is the Zmrdlife mixtape from 2012. He followed the mixtape in 2014 with a smaller EP called Zmrdlife 2. Under the brand Zmrdlife, which he invented together with friends, then began releasing a successful collection clothes. In 2014, he was approached by the Blakkwood Records label and became part of it.

In 2015, Renne Dang released a joint album, Project Asia, together with Viktor Sheen, which was very well received by critics and fans alike. The title single Instant Bitches II recently exceeded 10 million views on YouTube. He and producer Cehou later in the same year recorded an alternative EP called Danggkidd, where Renne showed that he doesn’t just belong under the Hip-Hop box. Danggkidd showed that Renne is doing well in sung positions and sensitive themes.

In 2016, Renne Dang appeared as a guest on DJ Wiche’s album called Veni, Vidi, Wich, where he left one of the most significant songs on the album, called Zvedám strop.

During 2016, he worked thoroughly on his debut solo album CON LAI, which in Vietnamese translation means half-breed and thus refers to the origin of his father. This album, which was released on April 30, 2017, contains, among other very successful songs, several million hits, such as Before Dreams, Stairs or the title and eponymous single Con lai. The album CON LAI became a certified gold record according to IFPI criteria two years after its release.

After the release of the album CON LAI, he successfully played a nationwide tour, which numbered several dozen stops. In 2018, he announced the release of EP Zmrdlife 3, with which he decided to build on his previous projects. This smaller project Zmrdlife 3 was released on March 3, 2018 and it is a slightly darker issue in Renne’s work. The whole EP was musically produced by Renne’s long-time DJ and court producer Leryk. One of the most significant songs is a track called I’m Afraid, which also became a million-dollar song.

The year 2019 was marked by the second big solo album called THÁI. The flagship single Flowers from the Pump was a huge nationwide success and became platinum shortly after its release. Guests such as Ben Cristovao, Rest, DJ Wich, Paulie Garand and Slovak MOMO appeared on the album. The album received a gold award in advance and later also platinum.

In 2020, he played almost the entire tour for the album THÁI. Some of the stops were canceled due to a coronavirus pandemic. In the same year, he created the title soundtrack entitled Smečka for the Czech film of the same name and performed at the Awards of the Czech Academy of Music Anděl together with Klára Vytisková and Albert Černý.

His third solo album, DANG, was released on November 28, 2021.
