in 2008 August. returned to Lithuania and in September – December participated in LNK’s music show “Muzikos akademija”, where he won the title of leader of the week the most times among all participants. His songs “Svajonė Turiu” and “Laisvės Kaina” (Lithuanian version of “The Price Of Freedom”) became the leaders in the chart of radio station M-1. He also performed the songs “Jei Gali, Atleisk” and “Love – Tai Likimo Dovana”, “Hafanana” (together with Afric Simone), “Life Is Life” (together with Hermes House Band) and others.
Having collected 15,366 audience votes and almost 7,000 votes in the golden final. beating the 2nd place winner Urtė Šilagalytė by a majority of votes, he became the winner of the show, winning vocal lessons at the Hollywood Pop Academy (USA) (however, he never took advantage of the lessons). He also received another prize – the M-1 radio station award for the most popular song of the project “The Price of Freedom”.
He participated in the concert “Unbelievable Italian Adventures in Lithuania” and sang a duet with the Italian pop legend Umberto Tozzi.
in 2009 together with the presenter Skaiva Jasevičiūta participated in LNK’s music show “Star Duets 3”. Here, he was distinguished by the songs “Ša La La”, “Lietuva / There She Goes”, “Nebijok” and others. He reached the final, but did not take the prize places.
He was among the nominees for the “Vaikai balas 2009” award, but Mantas Jankavičius won.
in 2009 wanted to participate in the LRT song contest “Dainų daina”, but having to choose between two projects at the time and not knowing whether he would be able to go to Eurovision if he won, he withdrew his candidacy, although later LRT decided that Lithuania would still participate in Eurovision.
in 2010 participated in the national selection for Eurovision at the beginning with the song “I Love a Boy Who’s in Love with a Fairytale” composed by S. Stavicki – Stan and took 7th place, and in March 8-9 with the same song participated in the international contest “Golden Voices 2010” in Moldova and won 3rd place.
in 2011 January-June together with his partner Jarmo Skonas, he participated in LNK’s music show “Star Duets 5”, won 3rd place and bronze microphones. in 2012 he participated in this project for the third time, this time in a duet with Monika Kvietkute, fiancee of Seimas member Andrias Šedžius, but dropped out after a few months.
