Biography / Discography
The Hardkiss is a Ukrainian rock band formed in 2011 by singer Julia Sanina and guitarist Valeriy “Val” Bebko. The band’s lineup includes bassist Klym Lysiuk and drummer Yevhen Kibeliev. Performing in both Ukrainian and English, the ensemble has established itself as a prominent fixture in the Ukrainian rock scene, blending rock, alternative rock, and pop-rock influences into a distinctive sound.
The band has released five studio albums, one EP, and one live record, alongside numerous singles. They are multiple-time winners of the YUNA awards, Ukraine’s premier independent music awards. In 2016, The Hardkiss participated in the Ukrainian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, advancing to the final stage and placing second overall, demonstrating their strong resonance with Ukrainian audiences and international recognition.
