About 10 CC
Biography / Discography
10cc (also known by alias spellings 10 CC and Ten CC) is an English art rock and pop rock band formed in 1972 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, growing out of collaborations at Strawberry Studios dating back to 1968. The original lineup comprised multi-instrumentalists Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, who shared songwriting and production duties. The band is best known for its inventive studio production and its 1975 worldwide hit single ‘I’m Not in Love’.
Between 1972 and 1978 10cc scored five consecutive UK top-ten albums, including Sheet Music, The Original Soundtrack, How Dare You!, Deceptive Bends and Bloody Tourists, and placed twelve singles in the UK Top 40, three of which reached number one. Godley and Creme left the group in 1976 to pursue electronic music and video production, while Stewart departed in 1995, ending the band’s run of new studio albums.
Since 1999 Graham Gouldman has led a touring incarnation of 10cc, continuing to perform the group’s catalogue at concerts and festivals. 10cc is available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
