Biography / Discography
3rei Sud Est (also known as 3 Sud Est or 3SE) is a Romanian dance and electronic music group formed in 1997. The group is composed of three vocalists: Viorel Şipoş, Laurenţiu Duţă, and Mihai Budeanu. The members initially began collaborating in 1993 when Laurenţiu Duţă performed at the Mamaia Festival as a solo artist while the other two provided choreography and backup support. The group officially formed in 1997 with their debut album Ai plecat, which established their signature electronic dance sound and achieved immediate success, influencing subsequent Romanian artists including Andre, Animal X, and Cristiana Răduţă.
Throughout their career, 3rei Sud Est achieved significant commercial success in Romania. Their most acclaimed single, Amintirile (The Memories), became their signature track. Other notable releases include Vorbe care dor (2008, which reached number 1 on the Romanian Top 100), De dorul Tau (2002), and N-ai crezut in mine (2007). The group has maintained an active recording and performing career, with recent releases including Emotii (2014). Mihai Budeanu has also pursued a parallel solo recording career outside the group project. The group is available to book for festivals, corporate events, and private performances.
