Begi is of Persian origin, hence its special sounding name. He was born in the exotic Middle Eastern city of Tehran, Iran, and although he moved to Hungary with his family as a child, he never forgot where he came from. The colourfulness of his musical world is perhaps due to this multicultural background. He tried his hand at the DJ desk almost as a kid, at the age of 16, and it was immediately clear that he was a natural talent. After his first experiences in smaller clubs, he set his first milestone in the Hungarian pop music scene: in 2000, he launched Pulzár, which was the first radio show in Hungary, in which almost all the colours and goodies of the 21st century electronic music palette were performed.
