Andrea (real name: Teodora Rumenova Andreeva) is a Bulgarian pop-folk singer, born on January 23, 1987 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She studied singing and piano from a young age and later graduated from the National School of Finance and Business in Sofia. Her artistic career began after winning several beauty pageants, including Miss Tourism Bulgaria, but she quickly transitioned into music, where she found her true voice.

Andrea rose to fame in the late 2000s as a leading artist under Payner Music, with smash hits like “Samо moi”, “Dokray”, “Haide, opitai me”, and “Upotrebena”. She is known for her glamorous style, seductive vocals, and genre-blending approach that mixes chalga with dance, oriental, and pop sounds.

In 2008, she co-founded the international project Sahara with Romanian producer Costi Ioniță, collaborating with world stars like Shaggy, Mario Winans, and Bob Sinclar. Songs like “I Wanna” and “Mine” earned millions of views and placed her on the global music map. Andrea has won multiple Balkan Music Awards, Planeta TV Awards, and was named “Female Artist of the Year” several times in Bulgaria.

Fluent in English and often performing abroad, Andrea is one of the few Bulgarian artists with a truly international image. She has appeared in Forbes Bulgaria, was featured in European fashion media, and remains a style and pop icon in Southeastern Europe.
