Booking Barclay Crenshaw

Barclay Crenshaw is the real name and alter ego of renowned producer Claude VonStroke, founder of the iconic Dirtybird Records. Under this name, he steps away from his house music legacy to explore deeper, more experimental sonic territory — blending bass-heavy beats, cosmic hip-hop, and lush analog textures into a sound that is both futuristic and nostalgic. His music merges low-end frequencies with human emotion, creating immersive experiences that resonate far beyond the dancefloor.

Inspired by early 90s hip-hop, experimental electronica, and sci-fi culture, Crenshaw launched this project with his self-titled album Barclay Crenshaw (2017). The record featured collaborations with artists such as The Cool Kids, Cam & China, and Mr. Carmack, blending raw rap vocals with cinematic bass production. Tracks like Sleepy Kids and U Are in My System quickly became underground favorites, showcasing his ability to merge groove with atmosphere.

In live settings, Barclay Crenshaw transforms the traditional DJ experience into a multidimensional journey.
