Ben Kweller is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose music bridges the worlds of indie rock, folk, and power pop. Born in San Francisco in 1981 and raised in Greenville, Texas, Kweller’s musical journey began early — he learned to play piano and guitar as a child and was writing original songs by age nine. By 15, he was the frontman of the grunge-inspired trio Radish, which landed a record deal and toured internationally in the late 1990s.

After Radish disbanded, Ben launched his solo career and quickly became a defining voice of the early-2000s indie scene. His debut album “Sha Sha” (2002), featuring the hit Wasted & Ready, introduced his trademark sound — witty, honest songwriting paired with catchy, heartfelt melodies. He followed it with acclaimed albums including “On My Way” (2004), “Ben Kweller” (2006), and “Go Fly a Kite” (2012), each showcasing his versatility and depth as both writer and performer.

Kweller has collaborated with artists such as Ben Folds, Conor Oberst, and Albert Hammond Jr., and toured alongside major acts including Death Cab for Cutie, Weezer, and The Shins. Known for his warm rapport with audiences and down-to-earth charisma, his concerts blend humor, intimacy, and sing-along energy.
