About Cascada
Biography / Discography
Cascada is a German Eurodance and electro-pop act founded in 2004 by singer Natalie Horler and producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou. Originally a trio, the group evolved from earlier project names before settling on Cascada. The act became one of the most successful dance music acts of the 21st century, known for hits including ‘Everytime We Touch’, ‘Miracle’, ‘What Hurts the Most’, ‘Evacuate the Dancefloor’, and ‘Glorious’. In 2010 and 2014, Cascada ranked as the second-most downloaded dance act globally, after David Guetta.
The commercial breakthrough came in 2005-2006 with ‘Everytime We Touch’, which achieved platinum certification and top-ten chart positions across multiple markets. The albums Perfect Day (2007), Evacuate the Dancefloor (2009), and Original Me (2011) solidified their mainstream presence in dance and pop radio. Cascada represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, placing 21st with ‘Glorious’. Throughout the 2010s and early 2020s, the group maintained an active touring and recording schedule with periodic collaborations featuring international DJs.
In 2021, following the single ‘One Last Dance’, producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou departed. Cascada transitioned to a solo project fronted by Natalie Horler, confirmed by the 2024 release of Studio 24, the fifth studio album. The act continues to perform at festivals and events worldwide.
