Formed in 1978 by Kevin Rowland and Kevin “Al” Archer, the band quickly made a name for themselves with their distinctive sound and energetic performances. Their debut album, “Searching for the Young Soul Rebels” released in 1980, featured the hit single “Geno,” which topped the UK Singles Chart and showcased the band’s heartfelt, soulful style.
