Ektor

In 2008 he released his debut album Airon Meidan together with DJ Enemy, the baptism took place on November 29, 2008 in the Prague club Retro. The song I See It Like Yesterday is a pilot track of the whole album. The board garnered positive reactions.

In 2011 he released his first solo album Topství. In addition to DJ Enemy, DJ Wich, Emeres, Lucas, Billy Hollywood and Jazzy appeared on the album as producers. The most famous song was “You’re welcome”. Ektor also collaborated with rappers Hugo Toxxx (song “Good”) or Strap (song “Néé”) on this album.

In 2012, together with DJ Wich, he released the album Tetris with the songs “Loket z vokna”, “Number 1” or “Je mi to to buk”. In addition to Strap and Hugo Toxxx, LA4, Vladimir 518 and Supa from the Slovak group Moja Reč also appeared on the album. The album Tetris was successful and the performance of Ektor & DJ Wiche used to be sold out. The highlight was their baptism in Prague at the SaSaZu club in February 2013.

In 2015, an album called Detector was released. Prior to the release of the album, Ektor released 4 video clips “Generation X”, “How Other”, “Why” and “Feet in the Fist”. The first two singles were produced by Special Beatz, the remaining two by Konex. Another song with a video clip appeared on the album, entitled “During the day, at night”. Guests on the Detector album were: Ego (song “Batman”), Orion (song “Bullying”), Rytmus (song “Money”), Momo (song “Rats”), James Cole (song “Pikain”), Vladimir 518 ( song “Zen”).

In 2016, an album called Detector 2 was released. The actual release of the album was preceded by 2 video clips “They Are Not Happy” and “Empty Sex”. Both singles were produced by Special Beatz. In addition to Special Beatz, DJ Wich and Konex appeared as producers on the album. Rytmus (song “Effect”), Ego (song “Suck that vibe”), Separ (song “Hungry”), James Cole (song “Crime”), Marpo (song “Hungry”), Strapo appeared as guests on the album. (track “Difference”). The sold-out launch of the album Detektor 2 took place on February 27, 2016 in Prague’s SaSaZ.

After a one-year concert break, the sixth studio album called Alfa was released on December 4, 2017, on Ektor’s 32nd birthday. The guests were Strapo (songs “21g” and “365”), Sergei Barracuda (song “It doesn’t make sense”), Smack (song “They wouldn’t expect that”) and Rest (song “You know what I mean”). The double launch of the Alfa album took place on 16 and 17 February 2018 in Prague’s SaSaZ.

In February 2019, Marko’s seventh studio album was released. The guests were Pil C (song “Kindness”), Yzomandias (song “We have everything”) and Separ (song “Good taste”). The launch of the album took place on March 1, 2019 in the Karlín Forum.

At the beginning of June 2020, Ektor released his eighth album called Original. The release of the album was preceded by 3 videoings from the director Jan Strach – “Hranice”, “Do Pět” and “Now Here”. The album has a total of 10 songs and is without guests. At the end of March 2021, a deluxe version of the Original album was released, which contains another 5 songs, including two guests, Yzomandias (“Another Stone”) and Sergei Barracuda (“That’s the Key”). The launch of the Original / Original Deluxe albums in the Karlín Forum has been postponed several times due to covid-19. The final date is now set for 20-21. August 2021 in the open air complex of the Braník Iceworks in Prague.

In June 2021, Ektor received a total of 21 platinum records from the IFPI (International Federation of the Music Industry) for his rap work to date. He received double platinum for the album Tetris, four times platinum for the album Detektor and three times platinum for the album Detektor 2 from the hands of Universal Music. At the same time, he received a five-time platinum record for the Office (remix) single.
