Biography / Discography
Formed in New Zealand, L.A.B emerged from a close-knit musical community with a shared love for reggae rhythms, soulful songwriting, and laid-back groove. The band quickly stood out for their polished sound and effortless blend of styles—drawing equally from roots reggae, funk basslines, R&B melodies, and contemporary pop production. This fusion allowed them to reach audiences far beyond traditional reggae scenes.
Their rise was fueled by consistent releases that resonated strongly on radio and streaming platforms, earning chart success and establishing L.A.B as a dominant force in the New Zealand music landscape. Rather than chasing trends, the band focused on crafting songs that feel timeless, uplifting, and emotionally warm—music designed for both live settings and everyday listening.
On stage, L.A.B are known for smooth, confident performances that balance musicianship with accessibility. Their shows feel relaxed yet tightly executed, encouraging movement, sing-alongs, and genuine connection. Whether performing on major festival stages or intimate outdoor venues, the band’s chemistry and groove-driven sound translate effortlessly to live audiences.
With extensive touring experience across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond, L.A.B continue to grow their international profile. Today, they represent a modern evolution of reggae-influenced pop—stylish, soulful, and universally appealing—making them a strong booking choice for events seeking positivity, rhythm, and contemporary crossover sound.
