About No Mercy
Biography / Discography
No Mercy is a German pop/dance band formed in 1995 by producer Frank Farian, comprising American singers Marty Cintron from the Bronx and twin brothers Ariel and Gabriel Hernández from Miami. The group became known internationally for dance-pop and cover arrangements throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
Their debut album My Promise, released October 1996, reached the top 5 in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, and achieved double platinum certification in Australia. The album spawned international hit singles including ‘Where Do You Go’ (a reworking of La Bouche’s 1995 track), ‘Please Don’t Go’, and ‘When I Die’. A subsequent single, ‘Kiss You All Over’, reworked Exile’s 1978 number-one hit and charted across European territories.
No Mercy released their second album More in 1998, featuring singles such as ‘Hello How Are You’ and cover versions including Boston’s ‘More than a Feeling’. The band continued performing and recording through the 2000s, releasing the album Day By Day in 2007. Marty Cintron has continued performing in Europe under the No Mercy name.
