Pavel Čadek is a Czech singer who combines his own lyrics with cello playing. He describes himself as the self-proclaimed founder of the new musical genre “cellofolk”, which is something between Jaromír Nohavica (folk) and Apocalyptica (cellorock).

Since its inception in 2016, it has managed to jump ahead of the Ebony Brothers, Pokáč and Peter Bende, win the Notation competition, win twice at the MU Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics, and twice to win second place in the finals of the Rocking Horse competition. He also collaborates with the Brno singer Ivo Cicvárek.
Since 2017, he has been publishing his own work on his YouTube channel. In June 2019, he tried to use the campaign to raise funds from his fans for the release of his first album. He succeeded, and so on October 25, 2019, his debut album Cellofolk was released, which he christened on October 30, 2019 in Brno.
He performed at the Prague Music Festival in June 2019.
In November 2019, he was a frontman on tour for Pokáč.
