He wrote his first songs in 2008. He gave his first concert on April 4, 2009 in Slaný, as a frontman. In 2011 he formed an author’s duo with the just-beginning singer Voxel and as a lyricist he participated in his two albums (AllBoom, Butterfly Effect). This collaboration resulted in, for example, the song “In Our Street”, which reached several million views on YouTube. Their joint song “Tomorrow is also a day” (2013) was the first significant mention of Pokáč as a performer. In 2015, he created his debut single “Beaten Entry”; He raised funds for the shooting of the clip thanks to a crowdfunding campaign on the Starter platform.

In 2017, he released his first studio album Hair, which contained the hits “I have a cat at home”, “I like to go to the post office” or “What will you be”. Subsequently, he received nominations for the discovery of the year in music polls, the Czech Nightingale and the Anděl Awards. He christened his second studio album Totally Left (2019) at the Karlín Forum. Both albums received double platinum records for sale. The third studio album Antarctica (2021) is to be christened on January 20, 2022 at the largest concert of Pokáč so far in the O2 arena in Prague.

Pokáč also collaborates with other performers. He participated in the lyrics of several songs by Mirai (“I want to dance”, “Angel”, “365” and others) and Rybičky 48 (“We”, “In Love and Unhappy 2″), he is also the co-author of several lyrics by Jakub Děkan (” I know “,” Story “), with which he also sang the duet” What used to be is no longer “. He sang the viral hit “Song” with Pavel Callta, joined forces with the swing band B-Side Band and together they released a swing remake of Pokáč’s original song “What will you be” for the album Folk Swings. Among his songs are a number of duets with musicians, for example with Kateřina María Tichá, Berenik Kohoutová and Jakub Ondra. He sang the song “Even though we are bald” with Anna Julia Slováčková, which aims to support children and young oncology patients from the project My New Life. On May 25, 2021, Pokáč released his third studio album, Antarctica, containing songs such as “Girls Have an Objectively Lighter May,” “Cure for the Pain of the Soul,” “Cowboy,” and “Angel.” Video clips were made for all the mentioned singles.
