Biography / Discography
Awolnation (stylized AWOLNATION) is an American electronic rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2009 by frontman Aaron Bruno. Bruno previously performed with Under the Influence of Giants, Home Town Hero, and Insurgence before founding Awolnation with Red Bull Records support.
The band achieved major commercial success with their debut album Megalithic Symphony (2011), particularly through the single ‘Sail’, which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became only the 57th song certified diamond by the RIAA with over 10 million copies sold in the United States. The album itself achieved platinum certification. Awolnation has released five studio albums: Run (2015), Here Come the Runts (2018), Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders (2020), and The Phantom Five (2024), alongside a covers album My Echo, My Shadow, My Covers, and Me (2022) featuring collaborations with Portugal. the Man, Incubus, Rise Against, and Hanson.
