Caskets are a British rock band formed in Leeds in 2018 (initially under the name Captives). The lineup includes lead vocalist Matthew Flood, lead guitarist Benjamin Wilson, rhythm guitarist Craig Robinson and drummer James Lazenby. They signed to the label SharpTone Records and released their debut EP Ghost Like You in 2019, followed by their first full-length album Lost Souls in 2021. Their second album Reflections came out in 2023.

Their sound blends post-hardcore intensity with alternative metal dynamics and melodically driven hooks — the result is music that’s loud and urgent but also emotionally grounded. Tracks such as “Glass Heart” and “Guiding Light” showcase their ability to craft memorable choruses while retaining aggressive drive. The band has also overcome challenges: after a legal dispute over their original name, they rebranded to Caskets, and continued pushing forward, touring Europe as support for acts such as We Came as Romans, Blessthefall and Of Mice & Men.
