Booking City of the Sun

City of the Sun is a New York–based instrumental trio known for creating immersive, cinematic music using only acoustic guitars, percussion, and rhythm. Formed by John Pita, Avi Snow, and later completed by percussionist Zach Para, the group began performing on the streets and subway stations of New York, where their unique sound instantly drew crowds. Word of mouth turned into sold-out shows, and soon they grew into an internationally touring project.

Their music blends influences from post-rock, flamenco, gypsy jazz, indie, and world music, but does not fit neatly into any genre. Instead, City of the Sun compose atmospheric soundscapes driven by emotion, storytelling, and movement. The absence of vocals gives listeners space to interpret the music personally — every track feels like a journey, shifting from delicate introspection to explosive rhythm.

On stage, the trio perform with incredible intensity and connection. Their shows feel alive — dynamic guitar interplay, virtuosic fingerpicking, and percussion that drives the music forward like a heartbeat.
