Samantha Fox (born 15 April 1966) is an English pop singer and performer. Born Karen Wilkin, she adopted the stage name Samantha Fox during her transition from glamour modeling to music in 1986. Her debut single “Touch Me (I Want Your Body)”, released in March 1986 on Jive Records, became a major international hit, reaching number one in several countries and top-ten status across Europe, North America, and Australia.
Her first three studio albums—Touch Me (1986), Samantha Fox (1987), and I Wanna Have Some Fun (1988)—were commercially successful and produced multiple hit singles across international charts. She received a nomination for the 1988 Brit Awards in the British Female Solo Artist category.
