About Feeder
Biography / Discography
Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994, originally evolving from an earlier incarnation called Reel (formed 1992). The core creative force has been vocalist and guitarist Grant Nicholas, with a rotating lineup of other members including drummer Jon Lee, bassist Taka Hirose (who joined in 1994 and remains), and various drummers across their 30-year career. The band achieved mainstream recognition in 2001 with their third studio album Echo Park and its lead single “Buck Rogers”, which became a UK top five platinum-selling hit.
Following Jon Lee’s departure, Feeder continued recording and performing with session and touring musicians including Mark Richardson (2002-2009), Tim Trotter, Damon Wilson, and others. Between 2010 and 2024, the band released seven more top 20 albums, including their eleventh studio album Torpedo (2022) and their twelfth, the double album Black/Red (2024), marking their fifth consecutive top 10 release. The band was inducted into The Kerrang! Hall of Fame in 2019 and performed as a headline act at Download Festival in 2005.
Feeder’s discography spans twelve studio albums, with a consistent presence on UK charts and festival circuits. Available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
