An indication that a date may be possible is not the same as a completed O.A.R. booking.
When touring, artists typically perform with their full line-ups.
However, it should not be assumed that this specific format and full line-up will automatically apply to every private or corporate event.
The available format and line-up for each private event must be agreed upon individually with the O.A.R..
Once you submit a request with all the details regarding your event, we will discuss it with the O.A.R.‘s management and provide you with a definitive answer regarding the line-up and format for your show.
There are no grounds to publish information regarding a standard performance duration for a private event unless it has been confirmed for the specific performance by O.A.R. being planned.
Typically, the performance duration is agreed upon with O.A.R. based on the client’s preferences and the format of the performance.
Accordingly, the actual performance duration stipulated by the contract must be specified in the client’s commercial proposal and the event agreement with the artist.
The official sources do not provide a public technical rider for a private shows.
Technical requirements should therefore not be invented from photographs, previous concerts or another shows.
Once the performance format is established, the organizer or production company should review the current rider supplied for the proposed engagement.
This allows stage, sound, lighting, backline, power and other requirements to be planned against the correct production.
Not necessarily.
A private or corporate engagement may still be subject to its own available format, performance duration, production requirements and commercial conditions.
For this reason, the public tour is useful factual context, but it should not be copied into a private-event proposal as though all conditions are identical.
O.A.R., short for Of A Revolution, is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland. The core lineup consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Marc Roberge, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Richard On, bassist Benj Gershman, and saxophonist and guitarist Jerry DePizzo. Touring members include trumpet player Jon Lampley and keyboardist Mikel Paris. Known for their energetic live shows and extensive summer touring, the band has built a devoted fanbase through grassroots promotion and word-of-mouth rather than traditional marketing.
O.A.R. released their debut album The Wanderer in 1997, followed by Soul’s Aflame (1999) and Risen (2001). After signing to Lava Records in 2002, the band achieved mainstream success with Stories of a Stranger (2005), which produced their breakthrough single “Love and Memories.” A defining milestone came in January 2006 when O.A.R. sold out Madison Square Garden, drawing 18,000 fans and earning a review in The New York Times. The platinum-certified single “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)” from their 2008 album All Sides peaked at number 2 on the Adult Top 40 chart.
The band has continued releasing studio albums including King (2011), The Rockville LP (2014), The Mighty (2019), and The Arcade (2022), alongside live recordings such as Live on Red Rocks (2012) and Live From Boston (2024). Beyond performing, O.A.R. established the Heard the World Foundation supporting youth education and sustainable development globally. The band is available to book for festivals, corporate events, and touring performances.
